I have received the following Appeal from BETHAK NGO (sic):
Help the poor ones of the Lords to rejoice at the Christmas 2009
A group of good will members of the BETHAK and its prayer group are determined not to forget widow families and the poor people of our local community at Christmas time. We have started a fund raising campaign to include these needy ones to share the joys of Christmas dinner with the members of BETHAK. Last year we invited 200 people of poor families at Christmas dinner and gave them gifts.
This year it has been planned to include more poor people in the joys of Christmas and provide them the food material to be used at Christmas day. We have appealed our old colleagues to dig out their pockets to make the poor of our Lord feel that they are not alone but they are being cared and looked after at the time of need.
